Matthew 2:1-12
At Christmas, the light of Christ has come into the world. On this second Sunday of Christmas, we focus on the Epiphany story of the Magi who followed the star to find Jesus the King. The Magi followed the light of the Star of Bethlehem. We follow the Light of Christ. In this dark world, others follow us, the light of the world through Christ in us. We have hope because the light of Christ has come into the world. Thanks be to God. Let us keep our whole beings focused on Christ, the light of the world, the hope of the world, and our hope in this new year to come.
