The Entry
This week is on John 12:12-16. Jesus came into Jerusalem and was given a kingly celebration. Jesus showed the type of king He would be: One who gave His life, One who sacrificed His all. View the full service on our YouTube channel. By Pastor Paul Sausser
Heart Health
This week is on Hebrews 11:1-6, 39-40. Through faith we enter into a relationship with God, and through faith we grow in our ongoing relationship with God. Here I Stand
This week is on Ephesians 6:10-18. Jesus imparts to us His Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of Peace, Faith, Salvation, and the Word of God so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. By Pastor Mary Sterenberg

The Lure of Greatness
This week is on Deuteronomy 6:13; Matthew 4:1-11. In the 3rd temptation, Jesus is offered complete power and control. We don’t have to give in to these temptations, the battle has been won and we celebrate that. By Pastor Paul Sausser
The Lure of Cheap Applause
This week is on Deuteronomy 6:14-17; Matthew 4:1-7. In the 2nd temptation, Jesus is asked to do something spectacular, to win applause. This lure is not to prove one worthy of God’s love, but just for the ovation and praise of others. It is in God’s unconditional love that we find the lure of this temptation powerless. By Pastor Paul Sausser
The Lure of Self-Promotion
This week is on Deuteronomy 8:1-3 and Matthew 4:1-4. In Jesus’ first temptation that wants Jesus to be self-promoting, Jesus shows us that we have no need to try to impress others with any personal adornments because our true identity is by being a child of God. True identity is not found in the applause from others. By Pastor Paul Sausser
Be Long Suffering
This week is on Genesis 45:4-7. Being long suffering is the exact opposite as impatience. Impatience and following Jesus don’t go together. Being long suffering is more than being patient with circumstances, but especially being patient with others. By Pastor Paul Sausser
Be Sacrificial
This week is on Acts 9:19-30. Barnabas put his whole reputation on the line to be there for Saul, who changed from Christian persecutor to Christ follower. Barnabas engaged with Saul having no expectation in return. Barnabas stood up as Saul’s advocate and then helped Saul to see God’s plan for him. By Pastor Paul Sausser
Be Caring
This week is on 2 Samuel 9. In King David’s relationship with Mephibosheth we see David caring when Mephibosheth, Jonathon’s son, had nothing to give him in return. Kindness goes to those undeserving; caring for others is about fulfilling our promises to God to show a life of gratitude, even if there is a possibility of a threat. By Pastor Paul Sausser
Be Soft
This week is on Mark 5:21-24, 35-43. We might think of a soft person as being mild or meek, but definitely not a leader, but it is—Jesus is gentle of heart. So am I thoughtful, calm, and considerate in my dealings with others? Do I treat people like fine china? By Pastor Paul Sausser
