Daniel 10:1-21
Burdened for his people, Daniel goes into prayer for them and is visited by an angel. The angel tells of his wrestling match with evil in trying to reach Daniel—a picture of how God fights for us. It is also a picture of our wrestling in prayer. We find in prayer that God gives strength, even for what seems overwhelming to comprehend. Through this we are reminded that God not only hears our prayers but sends the forces of heaven to bring His answer.
